I teach the following courses at IIT Bombay:
ENT 613: Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Inclusive Business
This course provides an introduction to the concepts, theory and practice of social innovation and related fields including social entrepreneurship, inclusive business practices, CSR and inclusive technology. The aim of the course it to give students a sense of what social innovation, social entrepreneurship and inclusive businesses means, and what it entails to start and run a social enterprise.
ENT 611: Introduction to Business Models and Business Model Innovation
This course introduces students to the concept of business models and explains in detail the elements that make up a business model. The course will expose students to a range of business models across different sectors using theory as well as examples and case studies. We learn how to create a business model, and we study the impact of digitisation and Gen AI on business model innovation.
ENT 616: Readings on Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Development
While innovation and entrepreneurship is commonly considered in the context of startups and high-growth enterprises, innovation and entrepreneurship equally applies to economic development, poverty alleviation, the sustainable development goals and notions of inclusion and exclusion. This course, aimed at early-stage research scholars at the PhD level, introduces concepts and critical readings in a number of different strands of innovation, technology and entrepreneurship for societal good.

Arts + Culture: Entrepreneurship, Business & Management:
The aim of this course is to provide students with a good introduction to how to go from a creative idea to start and manage an initiative or organisation in arts + culture. Students will be encouraged to take an idea and create an initiative or organisation during the course. We learn what arts + culture and the creative industries means in India and internationally. We study some main sectors of arts + culture in India and learn about the organisations, funders, intermediaries and policies that make up the arts + culture ecosystem. Using case studies from India, we study different kinds of arts + culture organisations and businesses.
The Global Economy and Globalisation vs. Inequality, Crises and Digitisation
This course provides students with an introduction to, and overview of, the global economy at a time of rapid change and multiple stressors. We study the evolution of globalisation and global trade, we look at inequalities across the globe and how colonial history reflects in today’s trade patterns; we delve into how the global economy is impacted by climate change, the COVID- 19 pandemic; and we consider the impact of digitisation.
